Colonial Trades: Blacksmith

I am the blacksmith.  The fire needs to be really, really hot to heat the metal.  You need something to heat the iron, something to pound the iron, and something to work the iron on.  There are techniques to make the thing you are banging thinner.

How to Make Paprika Popcorn

List of ingredients:

Paprika

Salt

Popcorn kernels

Oil (olive, avocado or vegetable)

List of Supplies:

Popcorn popper (if you don’t have one you can use a pot on a stove)

Bowl (if needed)

First, take out popcorn popper.  Second, pour popcorn kernels into the popper, whatever amount desired.  Third, add oil but just senough to cover the kernels.  Fourth, turn on popcorn popper.  Now watch it pop!  Fifth, when it stops popping flip over into lid, or pour it into a bowl.  Now it’s time to add the salt and paprika, only enough to taste.  Last, shake it up to mix it.
